King Tutankhamun, also known as King Tut, was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the 18th dynasty (1332–1323 BC). He became pharaoh at the age of 9 or 10 and died unexpectedly at the age of 19. King Tut is known for his relatively short reign, his young age at ascension, and the discovery of his intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings in 1922, which contained many treasures and artifacts that provided valuable insights into ancient Egyptian culture and history.
